Being Blu is all about healing and staying down to earth. It's about cultivating great support and calmness and wisdom, even through learning from and giving back to a constructive blog.
What's in a NAME? This blog is Not About Me, Ever. It's focused on all people like me, and those who are not quite alike in experiences/identities at all. It comes from a black Christian American perspective because my art, writing, hurt and more are influenced by my identity. However, these expressions all are made to bring others closer to God. Black, white, red, purple, Chinese, Angolan, American, and Hindu, Jewish, Christian, etc. are all welcome to reflect, enjoy and collaborate with me as I hope to create a community inside of this web space! Many articles may be feminist or womanist but they are for women probably as much as they are for men and non-binaries, who can benefit from the alliance and awareness!
