Teach What You Preach

When a pastor asks for an amen from the crowd, is it usually to make sure he/she knows what they're saying is true or for the crowd to prove something to the rest of the crowd? When a pastor wears jewelry and shoes that are more flashy or expensive than multiple members' outfits combined, is that to preach the prosperity gospel or just to show who is mightier and holier than thou?

When a pastor's family walks past or looks away from a child that is abused or neglected, are those shut o or diverted eyes shut for prayer time or just for a chance to forget and move on? When a pastor prides in his past life of sin, is he/she joking or does he sometimes miss the sin a lot or is he bragging that his holy change/repentance is a bigger success story than that of those in the pews?

Thankfully, my main pastor does not do any of these but I have seen and heard of many other pastors who do. These questions and concerns I keep hearing about Church Hurt are too often mismanaged or neglected. The time to address them is absolutely NOW. What can be done now?
